Don’t get me wrong I think this is cool, however this is vary much wrong . Books are ment to be read not to be destroyed through so much history and so much knowledge within books and you’re just going to rip them out fold him and destroy them to where they could never be read again I’m sorry I disagree with this DIY.
There are so many books out there that, like The Velveteen Rabbit, have been so “well loved” (and in some cases, downright vandalized) that I have no problem using them for crafting. If the pages have been badly torn by use, or the binding is falling apart, and it’s headed for the trash bin, why not repurpose it and remind the people seeing the end result how much a part of our lives books still are?
There is nothing wrong with reusing boks that would otherwise be thrown out! I feel strange using bibles for this but in reality they have been doing this for ages! Look up quilling and it’s origins.
